Detroit Convention Center Transformed Into Field Hospital


The TCF Center, a convention center in Detroit, has been converted into a 1,000-bed field hospital for COVID-19 patients who don’t need intensive care.

The center, called the TCF Regional Care Center, will receive patients from metro Detroit hospitals and will be staffed by employees from Henry Ford Health System (Detroit), McLaren Health Care (Flint, Mich.), Beaumont Health (Dearborn, Mich.), and DMC Medical Center (Detroit).
